CARLOS C MAJOR is ultra smooth, fun, cheeky and is a heavyweight in Australia’s music scene. 

Most recently seen on The Voice Australia - Season 8, 2019 as an ALL STAR.
He was invited back from performing on The Voice 2014, where he was mentored by Latino Superstar - Ricky Martin.
C MAJOR was also a singer on Channel 9's 'Dancing With The Stars' 2019.

BIOGRAPHY

Carlos Enrique Velazquez (a.k.a. C MAJOR) was born in Sydney, Australia on March 22nd 1985.

Carlos pursued his father's musical influence for a life long career in music. He first started performing at school assemblies and events from the tender age of 6.

Carlos then began learning piano through the AMEB (Australian Music Examinations Board) at the age of 8.
His interests developed to further his knowledge in other musical instruments such as Guitar, Bass, Drums and Percussion. Carlos had a successful introduction to the music and TV industry, when he became one of the feature solo artists in the annual ‘Schools Spectacular’ held at the entertainment centre and televised on ABC.

Carlos' passion for his Latin heritage and Latin/Australian community grew very strong and led him to perform with many Pop, Latino and Afro-Cuban bands since the age of 14.

At the age of 15, Carlos began composing and producing music and won his first award at the ‘Kool Skools’ song writing competition for best RnB/Pop song.

In 2004, Carlos (19) appeared in one of Australia’s most popular reality TV shows ‘Australian Idol - Season 2’ on channel 10, where he was a Top 30 finalist and came back as a 'Wild Card'. He then performed at the 'Grand Finale' at the Sydney Opera House as a solo performer and backing vocalist for Marcia Hines.

Following this, Carlos has performed at most Nightclub venues all over Australia and appeared various times on channel 7, 9 & 10 on Today, Sunrise, Carols By Candlelight and more. 

He also performed in theatre for the Latin based stage show, ‘Cuban Nights’ as a Narrator/Singer/Dancer which toured Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and also featured on the Kerri-Anne Kennelly show.

Following his passion for music production, Carlos teamed up with artist Breeze Daniels and started a production company called ‘Suite 110’. This is where Carlos birthed the stage name ‘C MAJOR’.
Together they worked/produced/wrote with many world renowned artists such as: T-Pain, B.O.B, Royce Da 5’9, Wanya Morris (Boys II Men), Lamar (1500 or nothing), Fat Man Scoop, Bone Thugs and Harmony, Mr. Porter (Eminem's Producer), Marvin Priest, Stan Walker, Timomatic, Justice Crew, Young Men Society, and the list goes on.

During this time, C MAJOR was honing in on his own craft, teaming up with producers, songwriters and bands, internationally and all over Australia, with various artists and groups such as: Guy Sebastian, Stan Walker, Jessica Mauboy, Ricki-Lee, Justice Crew, Veneno etc. All of these experiences have had a lucrative influence on his sound and charismatic stage performance.

In 2013, C MAJOR released his debut album entitled ‘I AM MAJOR’ including his singles ‘In my mind’ and ‘Mala’. Collaborating with artists and musicians from all around Sydney.

C MAJOR entered Australia’s The Voice 2014. He worked closely with superstars Ricky Martin and Will.i.am, both claiming him to be a 'one of a kind' dynamic artist who is set to make his mark in the music industry. C Majors performances included: Crazy in Love (Beyonce), Blurred lines (Robin Thicke), Sing (Ed Sheeren), Senorita (Justin Timberlake).


  • Last year, Carlos wowed Australia again on The Voice season 8, 2019 as he was invited back by popular demand as an ALLSTAR.
    He was mentored celebrity Boy George and gave more electrifying performances, including timeless hits such as: Despacito (Luis Fonsi), Jumpin Jumpin’ (Destinys Child),
    Dirty Diana (Michael Jackson) and One Dance (Drake).

C MAJOR delivered brilliant, energetic and completely solid performances and always presented himself as a gentleman. His social media and fan base has exploded and ready for C MAJOR to continue his journey.

Carlos C MAJOR is set to release his new album this year '2020'.
